One of the most celebrated artists of the twentieth century, Jacob Lawrence brought bold color, powerful storytelling, and historical depth to his graphic work. The exhibition features three of Lawrence’s most important print series—Genesis, Toussaint L’Ouverture, and Hiroshima—and marks a rare opportunity to experience the artist’s work in Albany.
Organized by Landau Traveling Exhibitions and curated by Peter Nesbett, the exhibition is on view September 6–December 31, 2025.
