Keeping with tradition, Opalka hosts a curated PhotoRegional exhibition which focuses on more work from a select group of regional photographers, invited this year by curators Corinne Botz and Sarah Sweeney. To keep this exhibition truly regional, each of the invited artists live less than 100 miles from Albany in the counties of Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Ulster, and Saratoga.

Sweeney and Botz chose an intriguing mix of artists using photography in our region: Daesha Devón Harris, Jordanna Kalman, Jiatong Lu, Victoria Manning, Qiana Mestrich, Shana and Robert ParkeHarrison, Sayler/Morris, Julia Weist, Susan Wides, Letha Wilson, and Sara J Winston

THU Oct. 30, 7:00pm, Stage & Stanza, hosted by poet Carol Durant and David Baecker of the Theater Institute at RSC.

FRI Nov. 7, 5:30- 7:30pm, FIRST FRIDAY. Reception for PhotoRegional Exhibition. Music from The Alan Thomson Jazz Trio.

THU Nov. 14 , 6:30 snacks, 7:00pm talks. PechaKucha, Snacks from Druthers and Honest Weight Food Co-Op.
